Each body has unique needs and deserves individualized support during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

Nourished Pregnancy

During pregnancy, your body knows what to do. It knows how to create fingers, toes, organs, blood vessels, hair. It knows how to carry your baby to term.

To manage all the trillions of processes happening every second during pregnancy, your body needs significantly higher amounts of certain nutrients. Vitamin A, folate, vitamin B12, choline, iron, to name a few. These nutrients that are supplied to your baby must come from your diet, otherwise they will be taken from your own body.

Prioritize supporting both you and your baby during this life transforming period.

Nourished Postpartum

After birth, your attention as a new mother’s goes almost exclusively to your little baby. But it is during the postpartum period that you require the most holistic support when it comes to your nourishment and recovery.

The reason is simple: during this period, your nutritional needs are considerably higher, especially if you breastfeed. You’re more susceptible to anemia, osteopenia, fatigue, and depression.

So taking the time to be mindful of your own nutrition isn’t self indulgence, it’s a necessity.

Nourished Baby

The introduction of solids to your baby can be an exciting and overwhelming time.

Knowing when your baby is ready to start solids, choosing a feeding style that best suits your family and knowing which foods is best to start with according to your baby’s nutritional needs can support you in navigating this period with more confidence.

And while I hope this won’t be needed, I can also support you through managing constipation, food sensitivities and eczema.

About me

Hi, I’m Corina.

I’m a double certified Integrative Health and Nutrition Consultant and Nutrition Consultant specializing in Pregnancy, Postpartum and Baby Nutrition. I help women navigate pregnancy and postpartum and also guide parents and caregivers with introducing solids to their babies and raising adventurous eaters.

When I knew I wanted to become a mother, I realized that helping women go through some of the most important, beautiful, but also difficult stages of their lives felt like the best fit for my nutrition career moving forward. That’s when Womb Nutrition was born and I got pregnant with my first son.

My approach puts real food at the forefront of all things nutrition and I will always make sure to take your individual context into account. I’ll provide you with evidence-based information complemented by traditional practices and the experience gathered from my journey, as a mother of two, and from my practice.

And I get that. Especially if the first trimester of pregnancy is paved with nausea and vomiting, it can be unrealistic to have a food intake that covers the increasing nutritional needs of your body.Let me tell you this - it is not your fault. You are not doing anything wrong, although at times it might feel like this. I know that it might seem like forever, but it is really just a period and it will be over, hopefully sooner than later, but normally around the end of your first trimester. If you experience nausea, your body doesn’t really feel like eating super nutrient-dense foods. Instead, more refined, comforting foods, especially carbohydrates, feel much better to most women. I always try to have a food-first approach, but supplementing is often recommended if food intake is really compromised during the first pregnancy trimester. That’s when knowing what nutrients and supplementation forms to focus on can be very helpful, especially when certain types of supplements cannot even be tolerated. All women I work with worry that their baby isn’t getting enough, so it might be reassuring to know that, even during these challenging weeks, your baby will be getting the nutrients it needs from your reserves in order to grow and develop. This is only one of the reasons why starting to pay attention to how you nourish your body even before pregnancy makes sense. Your body will do everything it can in order to bring the pregnancy to term. The risk here is that the mother's reserves might be depleted, hence there is an even increased need to focus on postpartum nourishment and nutrient repletion. This whole account and my practice is here for exactly that: to support mothers-to-be and mothers with the information they need in order to properly nourish their body and their baby, starting before conception and all throughout toddlerhood. You can book a free discovery call (link in bio) to learn more about the endless ways we can work together. ♡,Corina
