When: November 9th at 18:00
Where: Rosengartenstrasse 10, 8037 Zurich
During pregnancy, your body knows what to do. It knows how to create fingers, toes, organs, blood vessels, hair. It knows how to carry your baby to term.
To manage all the trillions of processes happening every second during pregnancy, your body needs significantly higher amounts of certain nutrients. Vitamin A, folate, vitamin B12, choline, iron, to name a few. These nutrients that are supplied to your baby must come from your diet, otherwise they will be taken from your own body.
The biological importance of maternal nutrition is well established. And yet, conventional prenatal nutrition advice is most often focused around the foods one should avoid. At Womb Nutrition I focus on the foods that we need to include in order to sustain a healthy pregnancy – for both mama and baby.
Join me for the “Pregnancy and Birth Nutrition” workshop to know the essentials about the nutrients your body needs during pregnancy and the foods that can best support your growing needs.
Agenda:
- What happens to our body during pregnancy
- Pregnancy nutrition 101
- the role of macronutrients
